Our Story
About Pride of Pensacola
An inclusive drum and bugle corps where young people ages 8–21 build confidence, musicianship, and community.
Why We March
Music With Purpose
Pride of Pensacola Drum & Bugle Corp gives young people a place to learn, belong, and shine through the power of music and movement.
Serving all young people—with a special focus on at-risk youth—we provide a positive alternative to delinquency. What sets us apart is our experience-driven mission to foster leadership, discipline, and lifelong camaraderie through active parent involvement and peer-to-peer peer teaching.
From first notes to performance day, members receive instruments, uniforms, mentorship, and encouragement in a welcoming environment for every background and skill level.

Our Community
Guidance At Every Step
Our instructors, volunteers, and supporters help each member grow as a musician, teammate, and leader.
We believe the best performances are built through patient coaching, shared responsibility, and the pride that comes from showing up for one another.
Our Promise
Every Member Belongs
We welcome youth ages 8–21 with a shared desire to learn, perform, and be part of something bigger than themselves.
Pride of Pensacola creates meaningful opportunities for young people to develop discipline, creativity, and lasting friendships through drum and bugle corps experiences. Whether a member is picking up an instrument for the first time or preparing for the next performance, our corps meets them with encouragement and a path forward.
“Drum Corps changed the trajectory of my own life. Having seen firsthand the tragic outcomes during my time working with Juvenile Justice, I am establishing The Pride of Pensacola to offer our youth a powerful alternative—replacing crime and disappointment with discipline, music, and hope.”
